FireBoard HQ update: Windows, Floors, Walls and a Video!

As time goes on, so does the progress of the creation of the new FireBoard Headquarters!   Since Ted Conrad’s  introduction to the rehab of their historical building back in March, we have seen the installation of a custom steel staircase created for FireBoard by M3 Fabrications, and the future workspace has become much brighter with the addition of windows!

This week the floor plan is starting to materialize as the framers rough-in the walls of hallways and workspaces.  Additionally, the crew tasked with refinishing the floor have started their work.  Exciting stuff!

Next, electricians and plumbers will be on site to install the next major component of the project. 

Tools of the trade: a very large generator is needed to power the very large floor grinder used by the contractors resurfacing the the cement floors of FireBoard’s new headquarters.
