FireBoard Weekly Recap: January 26, 2024

Happy Friday, FireBoard family! It’s time to reflect on the exciting moments that made this week great. From the successful launch of our new and improved full assembly line to a spotlight at the Made in KC Marketplace, and the dedicated efforts of our team member Lesley in fulfilling orders for one of our esteemed dealers, Original Grills.

The highlight of the week was the initiation of our new and improved assembly line. With a commitment to quality and efficiency, FireBoard Labs has invested in creating an efficient way to streamline our production process. I spoke to our Production Line Manager, Jennifer, about this new process, “Unlike the past having everyone focus on different tasks, everyone is focused on one task for the day. We are working on the same schedule, as a team, relying on each other to get our tasks done. One huge benefit I’ve noticed from this first week has been the limited amount of mistakes.” This marks a significant step forward in our mission to deliver top-notch products to our customers. The new assembly line ensures precision, and consistency setting the stage for elevated customer satisfaction. 

Venturing out to the vibrant Made in KC Marketplace on the Plaza, FireBoard Labs is proudly showcased in the heart of Kansas City. The Made in KC Marketplace, known for featuring local artisans and high-quality goods, provided the perfect platform for FireBoard to connect with the local community. Seeing our products on display in such a popular store is not only a proud moment for us but also an opportunity to introduce FireBoard to a wider audience.

Behind the scenes, Lesley, our Packaging and Shipping Coordinator of the FireBoard team, continued to fulfill orders to our customers and dealers. With a focus on precision and efficiency, Lesley played a pivotal role in putting together a big order for one of our dealers, Original Grills based in Durham, North Carolina. Her commitment to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment is a testament to the passion and professionalism embedded in the FireBoard Labs team.

This week we wanted to highlight the FireBoard Spark instant-read thermometer. This product revolutionizes temperature monitoring with a distinctive feature – a probe port for extended tracking during longer cooks.
