FireBoard Weekly Recap: February 2, 2024
Happy Friday, FireBoard family! From participating in a charity run to diving into the workings of our Surface Mount Technology YouTube series, and supporting our valued dealers, this week at FireBoard Labs has been wonderful. We’re also introducing a unique experience where we dive deep into the kitchens of our incredible users to unravel the secrets behind their masterpiece cooks.
At FireBoard Labs, we believe in giving back to the community, and this week, we had the honor of being a sponsor and participating in the Groundhog Run 5K. This charitable event, benefiting the children of Ability KC, was not only a chance for our team to engage in a healthy and fun activity but also an opportunity to contribute to a great cause. We are proud to support organizations that make a positive impact on the lives of others.
In our commitment to transparency and sharing our passion for technology, we continued our journey through the Surface Mount Technology YouTube series. This week’s episode focused on the operations of the pick-and-place machine. We dove into the fascinating world of precision component placement, showcasing the cutting-edge technology that goes into the manufacturing of our innovative products. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or just curious about the behind-the-scenes processes, our series aims to provide valuable insights into our operations.
Behind the scenes, our Packaging and Shipping Coordinator, Lesley, has been continuing to put together weekly orders for some of our valued dealers. This week, our focus was on Lone Star Grillz, based out of Conroe, Texas. As a company deeply rooted in the barbecue and grilling community, we take pride in these businesses that share our passion for quality and innovation. Our ongoing collaboration with Lone Star Grillz reflects our commitment to providing the best tools and technology to barbecue enthusiasts around the world.
As we wrap up another productive week at FireBoard Labs, we are grateful for the opportunities to give back, share our technological expertise, and support our dealers. The Groundhog Run 5K, the latest episode in our Surface Mount Technology series, and our continued partnership with Lone Star Grillz are just a glimpse into the culture that defines our company. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and innovations as we continue our journey of making a positive impact in the world of technology and barbecue.
Product Feature:
This week we wanted to draw attention to the FireBoard Antenna. This antenna plugs into any FireBoard 2 device via the auxiliary port. When connected, it provides FireBoard S1G connectivity to allow for long-range communication with S1G-compatible FireBoard products like the Beacon (and new products in the future.) Using a lower frequency than Bluetooth and WiFi, S1G devices easily transmit through walls and metal surfaces. A single FireBoard Antenna can connect up to 32 devices simultaneously.
Gameday Grillfest:
Calling all football fans (and Swifties!) In honor of our hometown Kansas City Chiefs making the Super Bowl once again, we are currently running our Gameday Grillfest promo. When you spend $79 or more on FireBoard.com you receive one probe pouch, one food probe, and one Amazing Ribs Meathead BBQ Rub. Get all the key accessories you need when throwing your Super Bowl party this year!
NEW: Shared Session Highlights:
At FireBoard Labs, we’ve always believed in the power of our community and want to do a better job of showcasing that. So, we’re introducing a weekly shared session highlight! Each week, we encourage everyone to share their FireBoard cooking sessions via the FireBoard mobile app. We will feature one cook every week, showing off the chosen user’s cook and each step along the way so you can follow along, pick up new recipes, and find new ways to use your FireBoard equipment.
To submit your session to be featured, use the sharing option on your FireBoard mobile app and send an email to sessions@fireboard.com with a link to your session. Please include anything else you’d like the FireBoard community to know about your process, along with any tips/tricks you recommend for a successful session. We look forward to seeing what you’ve been cooking!
