FireBoard Weekly Recap: February 9, 2024
Happy Friday, FireBoard family! From showcasing our products on shelves to diving into the details of our manufacturing process, as well as working on structural improvements around the HQ, this week has been filled with exciting developments that we’re thrilled to share with you.
This week kicked off with a visit to one of our dealers, Proud Souls in North Kansas City. It’s always a delight to see our products displayed on retail store shelves, and we took the opportunity to share this moment with our community on our Instagram. The support we receive from our dealers is invaluable, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to showcase FireBoard in such a great setting.
In our ongoing “Surface Mount Assembly Line” YouTube series, we dove into a key part of our manufacturing process with a focus on the BTU International Pyramax 100A Oven. Filming the third episode of the series allowed us to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the detailed steps involved in crafting each FireBoard product. From precision to quality control, we’re committed to excellence every step of the way at FireBoard. Stay tuned for that episode coming out next week!
Meanwhile, our Project Manager, Byron Funk, has been hard at work on the completion of what we call the “crow’s nest” at the FireBoard HQ. This former exhaust shaft is undergoing a transformation with the installation of insulation, siding, and new exhaust fans for enhanced temperature control in the office.
To cap off the week, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Wolfepack BBQ down the street from FireBoard HQ. They graciously allowed us to film a cook in their kitchen, showcasing how they utilize FireBoard products in a culinary setting. The result? Mouthwatering barbecue that not only tasted delicious but also demonstrated the reliability of FireBoard in real-world smoking scenarios.
From highlighting dealers to manufacturing insights and real-world applications, this week has been nothing but impactful for FireBoard. Thank you for joining us for this week’s recap, and stay tuned for more exciting updates in the weeks to come! (Oh, and go Chiefs! Let’s bring another trophy back to Kansas City!)
