FireBoard Weekly Recap: April 5th, 2024

This week was an exciting one for the FireBoard team as we had a presence at a major international event, celebrated a user’s competition victory, and provided a behind-the-scenes look at our manufacturing process:

First up, FireBoard Labs attended the Paris BBQ Expo in France, one of the biggest barbecue events in Europe. We had a presence to showcase our industry-leading FireBoard thermometers and connect with passionate pitmasters and barbecue enthusiasts across the continent. The expo provided an excellent opportunity to introduce international expo exhibitors and guests to the precision and convenience of FireBoard’s temperature monitoring solutions.

Closer to home, we’re thrilled to congratulate FireBoard user Clifford McDuffie on his first-place finish at the Rib-A-Thon BBQ Competition in Millry, Alabama. Clifford’s outstanding barbecue skills, combined with the accurate temperature-tracking capabilities of his FireBoard, helped him take home the grand prize. We’re honored that our products play a role in the success of pitmasters like Clifford, and we look forward to following his continued journey as a competition pitmaster.

Finally, we’re excited to take you behind the scenes and provide a unique point-of-view look at our surface mount assembly line. Imagine being a circuit board, moving through the highly automated process that brings FireBoard thermometers to life. From the precision pick-and-place machines to the reflow ovens, you’ll get an up-close look at the cutting-edge technology and meticulous attention to detail that goes into manufacturing every FireBoard product.
