FireBoard Weekly Recap: April 26th, 2024
It’s been another busy week here at FireBoard Labs! We’re excited to share some of the latest developments and activities from across the company.
This past week, we visited the AT Industries warehouse – one of our newest manufacturing partners. We’re thrilled to be working with AT Industries to streamline production and continue providing top-quality products. They’ll be handling some of our sheet metal component manufacturing, and we can’t wait to see the results of this new collaboration.
This week the marketing team used the FireBoard Drive system integrated with the Lone Star Grillz smoker to smoke up a one-pound pork shoulder. It was a delicious, and we can’t get enough of that smoky flavor. Keep an eye on our social media channels for more cooks like this in the near future! We love showing off what our products can do.
Finally, our very own Byron Funk attended Scheels BBQ University in Fargo, North Dakota. During these sessions, Byron taught Scheels employees all about FireBoard products and their features. He was joined by Megan Day, one of our sponsored competition pit masters, who provided insights into using FireBoard tech on the competition circuit. It’s always great to spread FireBoard knowledge!
Shared Session of the Week:
Congratulations to FireBoard user Casey for his “Beef Dino Ribs” cook. We’re excited to feature Casey’s session this week, giving you an inside look at his smoked rib setup. This cook took approximately 10 hours, and what an incredible bark! Follow along with Casey’s step-by-step process to smoke the perfect beef dino ribs. Cheers, Casey!
Upcoming Events
The excitement continues for FireBoard Labs with some major upcoming events! From May 15th-18th, we’ll be attending the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Contest to get a closer look at the modern pitmaster setups used by the very best. In addition, we will also be attending the Smokeslam BBQ competition in Memphis to connect with top pitmasters and share FireBoard tech. If you’ll be there, reach out, and let’s meet up! After Memphis, we’ll head to Chicago for the National Restaurant Show from May 18th-21st. We’re excited to share more about the new FireBoard Beacon wireless temperature and humidity sensor, a long-range cold storage monitor (and so much more, honestly) that businesses of all sizes can benefit from. We’re thrilled to take part in both of these events and hope to see you at each!
