Take control of your fire with the FireBoard Drive Fan Control Cable. Plug in the Fan Control Cable and give your existing FireBoard or FireBoard 2 (sold separately) the ability to maintain the temperature of your wood or charcoal fueled smoker.  Controlled through the iOS or Android app, set your desired smoker temperature or override and manually control the fan yourself.

Disappointed

Purchased this from The BBQ HQ a little over a year ago. I immediately had issues so sent it in for repairs. What I received back was a refurbished item that is very unreliable. For clarification, I have a fireboard, MEATER and Masterbuilt probe along with a Taylor ambient thermometer the last three cooks. They all register the same except the Fireboard. Maybe I just have a dud but can’t recommend due to my experience.

I have had every major controller on the market. So far this is the most durable and consistent product on the market. I'm running 4 units 24/6 in all weather conditions.
The most control of settings. Probes are more durable than any of the other manufacturers.

Fireboard 2 and magnetic holder

Fantastic product, made my Masterbuilt XT come to life! I was having major issues with the XT controller, 100 degree temperature swings. It was always losing wifi connectivity. But not so with the Fieboard 2. It keeps temp within 10-15 degrees from my Govee temp probe. The only issue was getting the proper wiring from the unit to the 12V fan. But fairly straight forward, this way the warrenty is not affected.
