Make you understand size of this probe.

This did not fit my Char-Griller smoker. I sent it back to be replaced. There should be easy to understand documentation on size. The description used (1/2" NPT) is not a well known standard. The size of the bolt is about 3/4" wide. I wish the cord sleeve was more substantial. Probes are always getting kinked and tied together.

Game Changer

I was referred by a friend that was using the FireBoard but after my first two cooks I am hooked and a huge fan. The accuracy of the probes and the user friendliness of the unit is superior to anything else I have tried. The app and synchronization with the unit and phone was super simple. I am looking forward to the new wireless probe.

Needs to be longer

4 inch just bearly stick out of the door of the old country gravity smoker. 6 inch I think we be a better length.. other than that it worked great on the first smoke

Exceptionally Happy

Added the Drive to my 22" Weber Smokey Mountain smoker. Holds the temperature w/in +/- 2°F in windy weather! Buying the integrated pit temperature probe, Drive, and FireBoard 2 creates an accuracy better than my wife's Treager, with better smoke / flavor!!! I hope Fireboard comes out with a storage case, similar to Thermpro, to store and protect all my FireBoard products together. You will not be disappointed with the money you invest in these products!
