Warranty

At FireBoard Labs, we strive to provide a high quality product. We also stand by our product and to that end, we have extended our initial six (6) month warranty period to twelve (12) months on the FireBoard Thermometer (“Product”).

This warranty ensures that the Product is free from defects and workmanship. If the Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty, FireBoard will repair or replace the unit at its own expense.

Of course, as with any warranty, certain situations are not covered under our warranty. These situations include but are not limited to: modifications, use outside rated specifications, and general abuse/misuse. FireBoard reserves the right to inspect equipment before resolving any warranty claims.

All FireBoard temperature probes are covered by a six (6) month warranty period. Due to the extreme conditions most of the temperature probes perform in, it naturally becomes difficult to extend a longer warranty. The same limitations apply to the six (6) month warranty with respect to probe misuse or outside FireBoard’s probe specifications.

It should also be noted that this warranty only applies to FireBoard equipment purchased directly from FireBoard or one of FireBoard’s authorized dealers.

If the equipment is under warranty, we will inspect the equipment and determine the nature of the issue. If the repairs are under warranty, we will repair or replace the equipment free of charge and send it back to you in a timely manner. Remember, probes include a six month warranty and the FireBoard unit and accessories include a one year warranty.

We strive to make all repairs in a timely manner. We also aim to price any repairs that are outside the scope of warranty work as reasonably as possible in an effort to support our customers.
