Was able to install this with zero modifications. Works tremendously well on the few cooks so far. And sooo much better and accurate than another device that I used ! So far…no buyer regrets…I think this is OMG-like unit that I wish I had purchased sooner

Quality build, and easy to get setup with bluetooth and wifi connectivity, to the FB app on the iPhone.. Very nice large display on the unit itself.
Collects and records all the data you might need on your cooking sessions.
The fan included with the bundle works well with my Kamado using the supplied fan adapter plate. The newer unit de-clutters the fan wiring by eliminating the fan power dongle.
Love the thermometer storage pouches.
I’ve already done two cooks, one was overnight and it held the temperature within +/- 2F through the night.

One request: It would be good if a plug was provided to seal the fan port when the fan is removed. I’m using a wet rag as a plug.

After consulting with your excellent support, I received my probes well within my needs for a tight timeline. They look great, paired easily in the app, but the charging is the real standout. Not only does it use the One True Connector, USB-C, so I don't need yet another adapter, but I love the pass-through charging allowing me to stack them together to charge them all with a single cable. Kudos to the product design team!

I have had my big green egg for six years now and love cooking on it but have been very interested in a controller to give me more freedom on cook days. I did a ton of research on the various temperature controllers and fully intended to buy a competitor before watching a review video that crowned the FireBoard the champ. All of the components feel professional grade and thoughtfully designed. I love the app and have already used almost all of the features even in just three cooks. I had high expectations and the FireBoard has exceeded them. Huge fan and am already looking at getting a Spark to be able to see the temps displayed in the house. Their library of instructional videos are really helpful as well. Thanks for a great product!

No more wires, no more wires, Hallelujah! no more wires! I have used a couple other competitor wireless thermometers and they either stopped working after a couple of cooks or were trash out of the box. I am sold! And even bought a second pulse. The pulse just works (accurate temps and constantly connected for an 11 hour brisket cook!). And with the intuitive streamlined phone application there is no technological frustration. The best part is I love grabbing the meat out of the smoker without having it to deal with BBQ cable management. 10 outta 10 I highly recommend!

This is my first experience with a fire monitor of this caliber. I previously have used a Thermoworks with multiple probes and remote monitor but I finally decided I wanted to step up my game and have more freedom away from the fire when I’m cooking. Everything about this product so far has been a great experience. Right out of the box all of the components feel professionally made with their weight and fitment. I had watched quite a few videos so the app setup and usage of all of the screens was extremely easy. I have done two cooks and everything has been near to perfect. My first cook was 6 hours and only used 3% of the controller battery even running the fan. Based on video reviews I expected this product to be excellent. It has lived up to that and then some! I can’t wait to smoke a brisket this weekend on a longer cook!

Ambient Probe

Just used the Pulse when cooking a Pork Loin on the rotisserie and it performed flawlessly. No problem for the signal to advance through the double wall, stainless steel hood on my DCS gas grill.

Note, that I learned when using the Pulse that you get a more accurate internal temperature reading if the probe is inserted all the way up to the ring. Exposing too much of the shaft to the external environment will slew the internal temperature reading to the upside.

BTW, my Fireboard shown in the pictures is set in the 3D printed enclosure that I made.

These screwed into the food ports of my Gator Pit and allowed me to dial in the temperature with the Gator tuning plates
